Because Every Voice Matters

From Surat, Building a Future Where Everyone Can Hear, Communicate and Thrive

SilentCare Foundation was founded with one simple belief: everyone deserves access to quality hearing healthcare — regardless of age, location, or financial circumstances.

At SilentCare Foundation, we believe that hearing is more than the ability to perceive sound — it is the foundation of communication, learning, confidence, relationships, and opportunity. Every child deserves to hear their first words, every student deserves to learn without barriers, every adult deserves to communicate with confidence, and every older adult deserves to stay connected with family and society.

Our journey began in Surat, Gujarat, where we are making hearing healthcare more accessible through awareness programmes, community hearing screening, early identification, rehabilitation guidance, education, research, and partnerships. What started as a local initiative is steadily growing into a larger movement to improve hearing health across Gujarat and, in the years ahead, throughout India.

Hearing loss is one of the most common yet often overlooked health conditions. Left undetected, it can affect a child’s speech and language development, a student’s education, an adult’s career, and an older person’s quality of life. Many of these challenges can be reduced through awareness, early diagnosis, and timely intervention.

We collaborate with hospitals, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, government agencies, NGOs, volunteers, researchers, and corporate CSR partners — including a weekly Volunteer OPD in association with Surat Municipal Hospital (Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research) and community outreach conducted alongside the Surat Municipal Corporation’s public health initiatives — to build healthier, more inclusive communities.

As a registered Section 8 non-profit organization, we are committed to transparency, accountability, ethical governance, and responsible stewardship of every contribution entrusted to us.
