SilentCare Foundation's School Hearing Screening Program has crossed a meaningful milestone: more than 5,500 children screened across schools in Surat and South Gujarat.
Why it matters
An undetected hearing problem in a classroom often looks like inattention or a learning difficulty. Children identified through our school camps receive complete audiological referrals, family counselling, and — where needed — hearing aid support and rehabilitation guidance.
What's next
We are expanding the program to more schools this academic year, alongside teacher awareness workshops that help educators spot the early signs of hearing difficulty.
